Originally from the East Bay of Northern California, Mary left the Golden State for a change of scenery and for film school at Montana State University – Bozeman and fell in love with the eclectic beauty of the region. At 26, to put her later earned MFA in Screenwriting to use, Mary moved to Los Angeles and worked for top studios and television productions while pursuing a career in writing for Film & TV.

Using the ever-evolving soundtrack she curates for her own life as inspiration for the themes she puts on the page, Mary’s creative hunger extends to a variety of storytelling mediums including novels, scripts, short stories, essays, and even the occasional set of song lyrics.

Always the wanderer… Mary currently resides, works, and writes in Montana.
